Meet the dedicated directors of our organisation, each bringing a wealth of expertise and leadership from diverse fields, including law, finance, agribusiness, marketing, the arts, and education. Together, they guide our mission with professionalism and vision, ensuring excellence in governance and strategic direction for our community and stakeholders.

Peter Ross, Chair

BA

Peter is the Executive Manager for Creative Communities & Experiences, a division of Tamworth Regional Council and is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (1997). He has worked professionally in the entertainment industry since 1987 as a producer, director and actor.

Peter is the Chair of the Board for the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music, and he is on the boards of PAC Australia (Performing Arts Connections Australia), NAPACA (NSW & ACT Performing Arts Centres Association ) and Arts North West.

He is passionate about regional performing arts, creative industries, events and experiences and the part they play, not only in making the Tamworth Region a great place to live and visit, but also in the nation’s tourism, arts and cultural landscape.


Jocelyn Goodfellow

BF in Admin, CA

Jocelyn is a Chartered Accountant and Principal at Hancocks Chartered Accountants. She began her career in 1996 and returned to Tamworth in 1999. Jocelyn completed her Bachelor of Financial Administration at the University of New England in 2003 and became a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2005. She has been a Principal at Hancocks since 2011, offering financial expertise and leadership.


Libby Campbell

BA, LLB, LLM (Applied Law)

Libby is currently employed at the University of New England managing student resolutions. She was previously employed as an Associate at Everingham Solomons Solicitors, working predominantly in the areas of personal injury and employment law. Libby has a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Business Law and Transactions. Libby first became involved with the Conservatorium, during school when she learned the flute under the guidance of Mrs Volk and now attends the very cute early childhood music classes with her son.


Dr Stepen Cunneen

JP, BA (Hons), PhD (UNE)

Stephen is a Visiting Fellow at the University of New England and works from the Tamworth Student Centre. He previously had a 37-year career with ANZ Banking Group, specialising in International and Rural Banking. Retiring in 1998 as Manager of Tamworth, Stephen pursued academia and earned his Doctorate of Philosophy from UNE in 2012. He has been a member of the Conservatorium Board since 2013.



Heidi Manning

Heidi is the Marketing Director and Thought Leader of 2 Creative Media, an agency she has successfully steered for over 21 years. A results-driven digital strategist, Heidi specialises in connecting brands with their ideal audiences through powerful storytelling and unique, creative concepts designed to ignite market growth.

With a Master of Marketing and a Bachelor in Design, Heidi bridges the gap between high-level strategy and aesthetic excellence. She is renowned for orchestrating successful, high-impact outcomes for major events, including The Business Summit, Building and Renovating Expo, and the Loving Your Later Life Expo, consistently delivering measurable success and elevated brand engagement for her clients.


Bernard Munro

BASc (Rural Management, Marketing)

Bernie is the Managing Director of  Agrinova Finance & Advisory.  Having spent the majority of his professional and personal life in regional Australia with his wife and family, Bernie has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that rural communities face.  These experiences shape the work that he undertakes support regional commercial and agribusiness clients to be navigate change.


Jesse Martin

LLB (UNE), GDLP (College of Law)

Jesse is a lawyer with practice areas involving agribusiness, property, and succession planning. Jesse regularly advises on rural, commercial and industrial property transactions, leasing and agistment arrangements, succession planning, business acquisitions and disposals, commercial agreements, and estate planning.

Jesse holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law in 2020.

Having grown up involved in cattle grazing on his family’s rural properties in the New England region, Jesse brings a practical understanding of regional communities and agribusiness to the Board. He has a particular interest in sustainable business structures and succession planning, and is pleased to support and contribute to the governance and strategic direction of the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music.
