Student of the Month

The May student of the month recipient is Innes Munro.

Innes is a string student, learning both the violin and double bass with Samara Redman.

Innes was chosen by our Director Noelene McGrane as the May student of the month. Innes is a conscientious student who is very giving of his time. Innes has only been learning the double bass for a short period of time but has been progressing rapidly. During May, Innes was a part of the orchestra for the Musical Society’s production of Beauty and the Beast, performing on double bass for 12 shows and numerous rehearsals.

Innes also attends Poco a Poco strings regularly helping out the beginner string students. Innes is to be commended for his commitment and dedication to his music studies.

Innes will receive two complimentary tickets to see the Crossing Continents concert in the Chapel Theatre in October.
