FEES

The schedule of fees is available on our website. Fees are due within 21 days from the commencement of Term 1.

The TRCM Board and Management have reviewed the fees for 2024 and have decided not to increase fees. The Board feels that families are already impacted with the rising costs of living. Please note, TRCM fees have remained the same for the past 4 years.

Send us your voucher before it expires.

Withdrawal from lessons

Once lessons have commenced for a term, four (4) weeks’ notice is required and payable and must be made to the office by telephone or email to withdraw from a lesson, group or ensemble.

Special consideration of withdrawal in the case of unforeseen circumstances can be negotiated with the Director. Such events may include long-term illness, relocation or unexpected change in financial circumstances.

SECURITY

If you have a lesson or rehearsal before or after office hours, (9:00am to 5:00pm), the main door will be closed.

To access the building, you will need to enter a code on the keypad at the right-hand side of the door and push the door to open. The code is the Tamworth postcode — 2340.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING

All lessons and ensembles will adhere to social distancing guidelines and current Government recommendations.

Please do not send children to lessons if they have any degree of cold symptoms. Teachers may refuse to teach a student if they are displaying visible signs of illness (lesson fees will apply). Our teachers will also not present for face-to-face lessons if they have any symptoms. Zoom lessons may be arranged in your regular lesson time if you are unwell — please contact the Office by 2 pm on the day of your lesson to arrange this.

Zoom details

Students will be able to use their existing Zoom IDs for lessons if required. Contact us if you are unable to locate your existing details.

CHILD PROTECTION

All TRCM teachers, administration staff and regular contractors are required to complete a NSW Working with Children Check as per the requirements of the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian requirements. All TRCM employees are also required to complete Child Protection Awareness Training through the NSW Department of Education, annually.

MUSIC BOOKS & COPYRIGHT

Students are expected to purchase their own music books as needed. A selection of books and instrument supplies and accessories are available in the Conservatorium Office for purchase. Books can also be ordered through the office.

In Australia, copyright law is set out in the Copyright Act 1968. Broadly, copyright protects ‘Works’, including literary works (books, magazines, articles etc), dramatic works (theatre and dance), music and artistic works (paintings, drawings, photographs etc).
