Treble Rebels is a choir for children aged 9 to 12 (Years 3 to 6) who are ready to develop their vocal skills in a supportive and engaging ensemble setting. The choir explores a varied repertoire that includes traditional choral works and contemporary songs, providing musical challenge while maintaining enjoyment and accessibility.
Rehearsals focus on developing healthy vocal technique, pitch accuracy, rhythmic awareness, and ensemble skills. Students learn to blend their voices, follow a conductor, and contribute to a cohesive group sound. Through structured rehearsal activities, members build musical confidence and strengthen their understanding of how voices work together in harmony.
Treble Rebels regularly performs at Conservatorium events, giving students the opportunity to apply their learning in performance settings. These experiences support stage confidence, musical growth, and a sense of achievement.
In addition to musical development, the choir promotes social connection and teamwork. Students rehearse alongside peers with shared interests, fostering friendships and a positive sense of belonging.
Treble Rebels provides an enriching choral experience that supports musical skill development, confidence-building, and enjoyment of group performance for upper-primary-aged singers.
Treble Rebels rehearses on Tuesdays from 4:15–5 pm at the Conservatorium
