No Strings Attached

Capitol Theatre Tamworth | Sunday, 13 September @ 2 pm

A joint concert of the Tamworth Clarinet Choir and the TRCM Concert Band

In this concert, No Strings Attached, audiences will be taken on a delightful musical journey by the Tamworth Clarinet Choir, and then the TRCM Concert Band will tantalize audiences with their skilful repertoire.

The Tamworth Clarinet Choir consists of dedicated and enthusiastic players who enjoy performing at a wide variety of events. This well-known and respected group has been entertaining audiences since the early 1980s when local renowned Tamworth clarinettist, Bill Forrest, founded the choir. Several of the original members, some in their 80s, still attend weekly rehearsals and contribute worthily to the choir. New players, of all abilities, are warmly invited to join the choir.

The TRCM Concert Band is an adult ensemble for brass, woodwind and percussion players. The Band rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the Tamworth Town Hall and new members are always welcome.
