Con Taster Day

The Conservatorium opens its doors to families eager to explore the possibilities of music education. Visitors can wander through teaching studios, meet some of our staff, and see firsthand how a supportive environment helps students develop confidence, creativity, and practical skills that extend well beyond the studio.

Throughout the day, guests are encouraged to try a broad selection of instruments, from piano and strings to woodwind, brass, percussion, and voice. Teachers will provide gentle guidance, while short demonstrations by students and staff highlight the range of learning experiences available across the Conservatorium.

Ideal for both beginners and developing young musicians, the event offers a chance to ask questions, understand lesson and ensemble pathways, and find the right entry point for each child. Families are welcome to explore at their own pace, gaining a clear sense of the Conservatorium’s vibrant community.
