These AMEB theory workshops offer structured, hands-on preparation for students approaching practical and theory examinations. Designed to clarify expectations and strengthen core skills, the sessions focus on General Knowledge, Sight Reading, and Aural Tests – key components of successful AMEB performance exams.
Students are encouraged to bring their instrument, allowing tutors to demonstrate concepts in real time and address common challenges across different instrument families. Tutors also walk through the exam-day process, explaining how assessments unfold and highlighting differences between instrumental groups, so there are no surprises on the day.
The workshops are equally useful for HSC music students seeking focused revision and practical reinforcement. Each session provides targeted
instruction matched to students’ current requirements, helping them prepare confidently, and understand what examiners expect.
